Something that just occurred to me
By now everyone has heard about the complete BULLSHIT going on in Gitmo, right? If not, youre a complete idiot who has no business reading this blog instead of a newspaper anyway.

What just occured to me is this. Forget the horrible human rights abuses. Forget the torture. Forget the complete lack of discipline by ANYONE who works in that place. The real thing that no one seems to be talking about is this: HOW MUCH IS THIS COSTING THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER???

Think about it. George Bush has people in there that he says he has a right to hold 'in perpetuity', meaning fuck everyone, I can keep anyone I want there as long as I want and if you dont like it, go fuck yourself. Well, even though, as we all know the conditions there are fucking deplorable, it costs MONEY to keep the system open. Who do you think is footing the bill for holding Jamal and Tariq forever even though they dont know shit about shit and the shit they just MIGHT have known is now FIVE FUCKING YEARS OLD BY NOW? Who do you think is paying for this? Who's paying for those meals they are eating that one republican jackass read off to 'prove they are being treated well'? Who's paying for the electricity, the sewage, the laundry, the contractors who work there, and everything else that goes into running a prison/torture camp? George Bush? I dont think so. Halliburton? HA!!

YOU ARE. You and I are. The American Taxpayer that's who. Where do you think theyre getting the money for this? our taxes. That's where. Why is NO ONE talking about how much this shit is costing us? A place that OBVIOUSLY should be closed and that most americans from both ends of the political spectrum (unless theyre fucking moronic 'ditto-heads' who need to take a nice trip there and see what's going on firsthand) AGREE should be shut down. Why is no one talking about how much it is costing to keep all these people, who most likely didnt do anything, don't know anything and the maybe 1% that DO know something, the shit they know is FIVE YEARS OLD BY NOW.

What the fuck are we keeping them there for? WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR? HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO KEEP THEM THERE ON OUR DIME?? WHY?!? The administration obviously has no fucking idea what to do with them because if they did, they wouldnt NEED to hold them indefinately. There are going to be NO TRIALS, Bush made that clear enough. How much time do you need to question detainees? FIVE FUCKING YEARS?? Even if every single person in there WAS a terrorist and they ALL KNEW the exact layout and locations of every single Al-Qaeda member, guess what...Whatever they knew isnt going to be any good NOW!! What? Do you think Al-Qaeda is STILL GOING TO BE IN THE SAME PLACE THEY WERE ALMOST FIVE YEARS AGO KNOWING FULL WELL THAT WE CAUGHT PEOPLE WHO KNEW WHERE THEY WERE???

Enough...This is costing too much money and making far too many enemies around the world. CLOSE THIS SON OF A BITCH NOW. Contact your Representatives and tell them enough is enough. do something.
